    Yep, folks all over the world use it today. Where Works has several settings that make it easy to use no matter where you are.

    Which browsers does Where Works support?

    It works best on more modern browsers, specifically we support Internet Explorer 9 and higher, Firefox 15 and higher, Safari 5 and higher, Chrome 22 and higher. Where Works app is also available on most major smartphone platforms .

    Is there a mobile app for Where Works?

    Where Works streamlines data entry on any internet-connected device. You can access this through a web browser automatically by going to where.works and logging in.

    To make it even easier, we offer mobile apps which are free for Where Works customers! Where Works apps are available on iPhone and Android.

    It is important to note that a mobile app is necessary in order to share location with Where Works.

    Can I use Where Works for personal vehicles?

    Absolutely! Anyone looking for a good way to track their car/truck/ATV/boat/etc. are more than welcome to use Where Works for their personal assets.

    Is Where Works Free?

    No, our services are not free. However, we do offer 15 days free trial period without any contractual bindings and monthly subscription with all features enabled.

    Why I haven’t received confirmation email?

    1. Wait at least 30 minutes.
    2. Check your Spam folder
      1. If you find email in spam, please add the email address in your contacts and mark as “Not Spam”

    Please fill the registration form with the same email address and you will be given an option to resend email.

    How do I change my password?

    1. Log in to your account

    How do I change my Mobile number

    If you have registered with email follow these steps:
    1. Log in to your account
    2. Click on your name on top Right corner of window
    3. Click on Settings
    4. Click Personal Information
    5. Enter new Mobile number
    6. Click Save
    However, if you have registered with mobile number, until and unless email is updated with a valid email address, mobile number can not be changed.

    How can I change my profile picture?

    1. Log in to your account
    2. Click on your name on top Right corner of window
    3. Click on Settings
    4. Click on Change Avatar
    5. Select Image and click Upload

    I registered with Where Works and never activated my account how do I reuse my account now?

    Go to sign up and re-enter your email, activation link will be re-sent on your email. Activation link can only be sent 5 times.

    Can I use phone number instead of email to register with?

    No, to begin with you need to register with a valid email address.

    What do I do I forgot my password?

    1. Go to log In page and click on Forget Password
    2. Enter your email address
    3. Check your inbox and follow the link

    How do I register a user with phone number?

    To add a user with mobile number you have to add a contact under user name and phone number. Registration email will be sent on your email, follow the steps to successfully create the account.

    I registered with mobile number, can I update my email address?

    Yes, you can update with a valid email address.

    Can I change my email address?

    No, once you have registered with a valid email address you can not change it.

    Can I add a contact that is not registered with Where Works?

    Yes, you can send an invitation via email or phone number.

    How many contacts can I add maximum?

    You can add unlimited contacts, however our services will be used against only limited users depending on your subscription package.

    What is the difference between active and non-active contacts?

    Active contacts are ones on which you use services, non-active contacts are those on which you don’t use services.

    How can I delete a contact?

    1. Go to Management
    2. Click on required contact
    3. Click on Remove

    Can I live track a member who is not added in my Contacts?

    No, in order to live track the member must be added in your contacts and has given you the permission to track.

    How many members can I add to a team?

    You can add members subject to subscribed package.

    How many sub-teams can I make?

    You can add as many sub-teams as required.

    Is there a limit to number of teams I can made?

    No, you can add as many teams as you want.

    Is there a limit on number of active contacts?

    Yes, you can only have as many active contacts as your subscription package allows.

    Can I use same features of team for sub-team?

    Yes, all the features of team can be used for sub-team.

    Can I live track a non-active contact?

    No, you can not live track a non active contact.

    Deleting sub-team deletes team as well?

    No, deleting sub-team will not delete main team.

    Will deleting member from team deletes member from my contacts?

    No, deleting member from a team will only delete him from team.

    What functions can I perform on team?

    You can live track, chat, make geofence and make sub-teams in a team.

    What are roles?

    Roles dictate type of access you have within a team.

    What access do I have if I create a team?

    As owner you have access to all the roles i.e. Live Track, Geofence, Sub-team and add members to team.

    Can I edit an assigned role to a member?

    Yes,

    3. Change the access under desired role

    What access do I have if I am only a member of a team?

    You can only chat with other members in group.

    What is a Geofence?

    Geofence allows creating an area of desired radius. Where Works show the presence or absence of members within this radius at any given time.

    How large my radius must be?

    It must be large enough to cover the area in which you want to check the presence/absence of member.

    Can I live track individual member?

    Yes, you can live track individual member as well as team. Track route of individual members in team can be viewed as well.

    For how long Geofence stays active?

    Geofence can stay active for as long as you set it to be.

    What is a POI?

    POI (Point of Interest) is required to create a Geofence, it specifies a location on map.

    How can I delete a Geofence?

    1. Go to Management
    2. Click on desired group
    3. Click Geofence from drop down menu
    4. Click on the cross icon against the Geofence you wish to delete

    Can I edit a Geofence?

    Yes, you can edit Geofence:

    Can I view location history back in time?

    Yes, you have to choose any date for which you wish to see the location of member.

    Can I use multiple Geofence on a single team?

    Yes, you can use multiple Geofence on team.

    When will I receive email for Geofence summary?

    At every Geofence end time email will be sent with Geofence summary report.

    When will I receive Geofence notifications ?

    You will receive Geofence notification instantly on your dashboard.

    Do I need to make a Geofence to live track my contacts?

    No, you can live track individual contact or in a team without creating a Geofence.

    Why do I need a Geofence?

    Geofence is required to track the presence, absence, entry or exit of a member in a specified location.

    I receive subscription remainder days before my package expires what do I do?

    Don’t worry you will receive notification three days before your package expires. However, you will use the services until package validity date.

    Do I have to subscribe a package to be tracked?

    No, end user does not need to pay to be tracked.

    If I subscribe days before the expiry date what will happen to package validity date?

    The old package will expire on its due date irrespective of when you renew your package and new package will start once the old has expired.

    If my package expires what happens to my team?

    All your access roles will be suspended i.e. you won’t be able to use access roles.

    Exactly how long is one Month period in package subscription?

    One month of subscription means 30 days of services.

    If I subscribe twice or thrice mistakenly when will my subscription package expire?

    If you have subscribed twice, package validity will expand respectively i.e. it will extend for two months.

    If I renew subscription days before the expiry date what will happen to package validity date?

    The old package will expire on its due date irrespective of when you renew your package and new package will start once the old has expired.

    I have upgraded my current package what will happen to expiry date?

    Your new upgraded package will start from the day you subscribed and will expire 30 days after the new subscription date.
